Download apps to control SLJO’s sound kit. Once the app is installed, scan the QR code on the gig box to connect to the gig box’s WiFi network. You’ll need to activate Airplane Mode on your phone to connect to the gig box WiFi.

Sound engineer

Mixing Station is an app that gives fine-grained control of SLJO’s sound setup.

The app will ask you what kind of mixer you’re using: SLJO use a Behringer X/M AIR. Connect to the “SLJO sound” WiFi network, then choose connection mode “Search”, and access mode “Full”, then click Connect.

Monitor speaker control

Band members can control the mix in SLJO’s monitor speakers using the MX-Q app.

Enable Airplane mode, connect to the SLJO sound WiFi network, then open the MX-Q app. Click “re-scan” and then select the “SLJO sound” mixer.

Once into the mixer, click “MIX” at the top. You can now select which monitor speaker to control, under “SENDS TO” in the top right (monitor 1-4, or vocal in-ear monitor - “Vox mon”).
